17 weeks pregnant, or 15 weeks after conception: a stronger fetus

At this stage of pregnancy, the fetus' heart is pumping almost 60 litres of blood a day. A slight fuzz has also started to appear on their head which will be your baby's future hair.
Their body is also producing antibodies and fat stores are beginning to develop under the skin. This will later provide your baby with energy and help protect them from infection and cold once born. During their intrauterine life, your baby is used to a constant temperature of 37°C.
