21 weeks pregnant, or 19 weeks after conception: the sense of touch becomes more refined

Your little one is now completely covered in downy, unpigmented hair called lanugo which helps maintain the protective layer of vernix caseosa. The sucking reflex is increasingly present, which may lead to your baby sucking their thumb more regularly.
