23 weeks pregnant, or 21 weeks after conception: an increasingly agile baby

Although your little one's eyelids are still closed, they are now aware of the difference between darkness and light. Your baby is also increasingly agile in their movements as they are building more muscle and getting stronger. Their eyes are gradually becoming pigmented, giving them a blue colour, but this will change in the first few weeks of life.
If you're having a boy, his testicles will begin to descend from the abdomen into the future scrotum.
