27 weeks pregnant, or 25 weeks after conception: is your baby dreaming?

Your baby is almost 30 cm long and weighs roughly 900 grams. Capable of opening their eyes, producing tears and grabbing the umbilical cord, your baby is learning things that will be useful to them when born.
At the moment, your baby still sleeps a lot, but are they dreaming? According to researchers, this is a possibility. Researchers were able to observe characteristic eye movements in babies in utero that are identical to those observed during REM sleep in adults.
