33 weeks pregnant, or 31 weeks after conception: average prematurity in case of birth

At this stage, your baby's pupils may change size in response to light stimulus. Although the bones in their body are getting stronger, the bones in the skull remain soft and flexible. This is to facilitate delivery and to allow the brain to continue developing.
If your baby were to be born at 33 weeks, he or she would be categorised as a medium level of prematurity, with an excellent chance of survival.
