9 weeks pregnant, or 7 weeks after conception: limbs develop

Elbows, knees, joints, wrists, and ankles are refined. The innervation and musculature take shape. Sensorially, tactile and gustatory receptors begin to develop.
The genital organs differentiate, i.e. a morphological transformation of the embryo allows the future female structures, the ovaries, or male structures, the testicles, to be put in place.
The profile of the small embryo begins to resemble that of a baby: the head is smaller than the rest of the body and the nose, mouth and ears are more distinct.
